The two books

Both companies sell through the same lane — ADESA Montréal — under their own OPENLANE org IDs. KMR trades under its numbered legal company.

KMR sells on OPENLANE under its numbered legal company, not its brand name — the "KMR Autogroup" string appears only in the (dead) eBlock feed. Quebec dealers hiding behind 9xxx-xxxx names is a pattern to assume in any future seller hunt.

Correction — the "quiet August" is our blind spot, not their silence. An earlier revision of this report read the post-Aug-5 drop as real. It is not: sales ingested after Aug 5 came from a catch-up sync that skipped the enrichment step which attaches seller names, so attribution coverage falls from 97.2% before Aug 5 to 3.9% after. MULTI AUTOS (and KMR) almost certainly kept selling — we just can't see whose sales those are yet. A recovery job is re-attributing ~13,000 of those records now; August numbers below are floors.

KMR (9226 2054 QUEBEC INC) — the euro-SUV counterpart

Same venue, different book: where MULTI AUTOS moves domestic pickups, KMR's premium end is European luxury SUVs — Range Rover Sport, Defender, BMW X5 — layered over an F-150/Sierra base.

  • This is sold history, not the showroom. Market Guide records completed sales. Cars these companies have listed for sale right now are not in this dataset — seeing those means scraping live auction listings, which we can add.
  • Everything after Aug 5 is under-attributed. The catch-up sync that filled Aug 6 – Sep 1 skipped seller enrichment, so only 3.9% of those ~24,000 sales carry a seller name (vs 97.2% before). A recovery job is re-attributing the ~13,000 that can be recovered; the rest lack the stock ID a lookup needs. August figures for both companies are floors.
  • 19% of all sales carry no seller name (58,155 of 308,058 rows). Some of these companies' sales could hide there; the numbers above are floors, not ceilings.
  • May 2026 is a known scrape outage across the entire dataset — treated as missing, not as zero.
  • Condition grades are unpublished for all of these sellers' records, so no grade mix could be reported.
